Copper's Diary: Day 3 at Aunt G

Dear mom and dad, I can't believe I fell asleep on the couch last night. I even slept through fireworks! I know right! So I can't believe this is my last day. I've had so much fun. I did bark a lot today. Aunt G was in this smaller house making noise and I wanted to help. Today I played with the hose again - and ran A LOT! I think Boone is my best friend. We took turns chasing each other around the yard and playing on the deck. Tucker pretty much stays to himself. He scares me a little. Is he a puppy or a big dog? I can't tell.  So I know this pool will cool me down. Aunt G fills it up at least 3x a day with cold water. But....... Oh I see - show off! So that's what you do! It was so hot today - Aunt G made these frozen fruit treat things. I had to eat mine in my bowl in my bed because Boone wanted them all. I knew I wasn't in trouble. It's 7:30 and Aunt G just got finish...

Copper's Diary: Day 2 at Aunt G

MOM! I slept the whole night. I was SO tired - but a good tired. You know like when you cannot even pick up a paw to scratch your head. SO the boys let me out and I pooped and ran around AND ate my breakfast. Mom are you sure I only get one bag for a meal. 'Cuz I was still hungry. Then Boone and Tucker were eating their food and I wanted more food. I only had a bit then Aunt G sat with me while the other dogs ate. But MOM! check this out - we all sat for a treat. Aunt G gave all the dogs one of my dental stix - but that's ok right??? I don't know how to share the couch yet. I tried to lay on the couch with this blue bumpy chew - then I traded with Boone for his white one - then we traded again - then mom took them away :( I think she doesn't want us to get hurt, but I liked the bouncy couch game. OH and are you sure her name is Aunt G? She was out with water for the chirpy things and I kept yelling AUNT G AUNT G AUNT G but she ignored me? She came ...

Coppers Diary: Day 1 with Aunt G

Dear mom and dad, Today I was so excited to have an early morning car ride with you both. I think I recognized where we were going, but I didn't want to guess. I wanted it to be a surprise. Did you hear me guessing? Then I saw Aunt G and I was like YES!!!!! I'm at Boone's house! I was a bit nervous when I saw your car had left, but Aunt G sat outside sipping on some hot stuff and let us play. I'm not sure who is faster between me and Boone. I think it's me - but don't tell him that. He thinks he's a greyhound not a coonehound. He told me that he likes raccoons and does't want to chase them up a tree like he was raised to do. He just likes the running part. Aunt G filled up this blue thing with water and Boone was standing in it and DRINKING the water. EW!!!! no thank you! Anyway, we played:  tag, and stare at the ducks, and pee on the fence, and King of the deck. Tucker thinks he is King of the deck. PFFT! He wishes! ...
